Our man Sam Church has recently been commissioned in an exciting live drawing role for The Tobacco Factory theatre, and their production of Shakespeare’s King Lear. For this he has gone back to basics, armed with just a sketchbook and a handful of materials, drawing the action as it happens during the actors’ readings, rehearsals and performances. His work will be exhibited in the theatre during the run of shows, providing a real insight into the backstage goings on, as a dramatic production is born!
